Outside of networking, how are the other major cloud hardware and software vendors doing in terms of IPv6 support?

The dependency on IPv6 is usually not a huge concern for compute and storage resources even though support still is needed. Vendors in this area are moving in the right direction, but more work is needed to claim full IPv6 support.
The main challenge is with orchestration tools and solutions. There are difficulties in this area regardless of the IP version, but it is easy to see how the problem is more acute with IPv6. More important, orchestration vendors need to get their tools to start "thinking in IPv6." When this happens we will not only get the IPv6 support we need now, but we will also get new, innovative concepts and implementations.
