Cisco Cloud Builder is one of three tracks within the Cisco Cloud Partner Program. The other two
tracks of the program are Cloud Provider and Cloud Services Reseller.
Cisco grants the Cisco Cloud Builder label to solution providers who design and implement cloud
infrastructures using Cisco hardware. Cisco Cloud Builders set up public, private or hybrid clouds that
are hosted by their customers. According to Cisco, the designation "builder" validates a partner's
competency in three aspects of building clouds: infrastructure, management applications and cloud
professional services. However, it also benefits Cisco by encouraging solution providers to
standardize their cloud offerings with Cisco equipment.
Cisco also offers financing and technical training to their Cloud Builder partners.
